I pray that everyone is doing well. I have received news that some of our brothers and sisters are suffering with the virus. So, let us all keep them and their caretakers in our prayers.

As we prepare for Holy Week, there are a few items I’d like to bring to your attention, including the schedule and how to participate.

Holy Week Schedule

Palms will be blessed at Mass and made available once we return to church in a few weeks.

How to Participate

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF STREAMING LOCATION: All services will be streamed LIVE to the new parish YouTube Channel. Click HERE to be redirected to that page. You do not need to have a YouTube/Google account in order to watch, but you do need one if you’d like to subscribe to the channel (highly suggested). We are streaming to YouTube because the quality should be better.

Please download a copy of the worship aid for each liturgy before it begins. The worship aid will be posted to the Parish Facebook Page and the Parish Website at least one day before the liturgy. Then, follow and sing along!

Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick

If you have a loved one who is gravely ill and at home, please call me. I will come and anoint them. If they are in the hospital it is always better to ask the nursing staff to call the priest on duty. If, for some reason, that doesn’t work, by all means, call me.

First Holy Communion and Confirmation

First Holy Communions are postponed until further notice. Also, as of today, Confirmation is postponed until further notice.

Carnival

The Carnival has been cancelled this year. However, we will have the Super 50/50 at a later date, hopefully during the summer.

Finally, I want to sincerely thank those of you who have been able to continue supporting the parish financially by dropping your envelopes in the mail slot at the Parish Office or mailing them to us. I fully understand that some are suffering the economic fallout of this situation more than others. If you are in a position to help out, might I suggest enrolling in the online giving program? It is a much easier, and even sanitary, way of contributing to the parish.

Please be assured of my prayers for each and every one of you. I look forward to that day when we will be able to “Go unto the altar of the Lord” once again and partake of the Bread from Heaven.

Orando que todos estén bien. He recibido noticias que algunos de nuestros hermanos y hermanas están sufriendo con el virus. Así que, los mantenemos a ellos y a las personas que los están cuidando en nuestras oraciones.

Mientras nos preparamos para Semana Santa, hay algunas cosas que me gustaría traer a su atención, incluyendo el horario y cómo puede participar.

FAVOR NOTE CAMBIO DE LOCALIZACIÓN DE PROGRAMACIÓN: Todos los servicios serán programados EN VIVO al nuevo Canal parroquial en YouTube. Presione AQUÍ para ser dirigido a esa página. No necesita tener una cuenta de YouTube/Google para poder ver la programación, pero necesita una si le gustaría subscribirse al canal (seriamente recomendada). Estamos programando a YouTube porque la calidad debe ser mucho mejor.

Por favor baje una copia de la página de adoración para cada liturgia antes que comience. La página de adoración estará disponible en la Página de Facebook de la Parroquia y en el Sitio Red de la Parroquia lo menos con un día de anticipación de la liturgia. ¡Entonces, siga y cante!

Sacramento de Unción de los Enfermos

Si tiene un ser querido que está gravemente enfermo y en casa, por favor llámeme. Yo iré a ungir a su ser querido. Si está en el hospital, es mejor preguntar a las enfermeras que llamen al sacerdote de turno. Si, por alguna razón, eso no funciona, por supuesto, llámeme.

Sagrada Primera Comunión y Confirmación

La Sagrada Primera Comunión ha sido pospuesta hasta nuevo aviso. También, a partir de hoy, la Confirmación ha sido pospuesta hasta nuevo aviso.

Carnaval

El Carnaval ha sido cancelado este año. Tendremos la Super Rifa 50/50 en otra fecha, esperamos durante el verano.

Por último, quiero agradecer sinceramente a todos ustedes que han podido continuar apoyando a la parroquia financieramente dejando sus sobres en el buzón de la Oficina Parroquial o enviándolos por correo. Yo totalmente entiendo que muchos están sufriendo la caída económica de esta situación más que otros. Si está en posición que nos pueda ayudar, le quisiera sugerir ¿que se inscriban en el programa diezmo en línea? Es mucho más fácil, y una manera mas sanitaria, de contribuir a la parroquia.

Por favor estén seguros de mis oraciones para todos y cada uno de ustedes. Estoy ansioso del día cuando podamos ir “Hacia el Altar del Señor” de nuevo y participar en el Maná del Cielo.
