And the brought gift of God, Frankincense and Myrrth

During the season of Advent a tree is set up in both St. Mary and St. Andrew churches.  Decorating the tree are tags for gifts for needy children in our area.  The people of the parish take the tags and return clothes, toys, books, etc. which help to bring Christmas cheer to these little ones.  Then the people of the parish come together to sort, wrap and get the gifts ready to be delivered to the families.  In a season focused so much on materialism, it is nice to be able to give to those in need.
